JSSS indexed in the Web of Science
17 Dec 2015
It is our great pleasure to announce that Thomson Reuters has accepted JSSS into the Web of Science (WoS) and has included the journal in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI).
The inclusion in the ESCI is an important step for us in becoming more visible in the scientific community. We can now be found using the search function in the WoS, and our indexation will contribute to the calculation of an h-factor. However, the ESCI is just the first step: from here, our next aim is to be included in the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE).
For this important milestone in the history of JSSS, we would like to thank all our associate editors who have helped to make JSSS a high-quality scientific open-access journal. We hope that we can continue to rely on them and their great support in the future to further advance our journal.
Please note that it may take several weeks or even months until Thomson Reuters has processed all XML metadata following the data transfer from Copernicus Publications.
